Make a Will Fortnight for Overgate Hospice

As part of the campaign, local legal professionals have waived their usual Will writing fees. Instead, they are asking clients to make a donation to Overgate Hospice.

This year’s campaign runs from 19^th October to 2^nd November 2020; in supporting the campaign Wilkinson Woodward have been joined by Brearley's Solicitors in Brighouse, Mary Mahon Solicitors in Hebden Bridge and Ramsden's and RCM Solicitors in Halifax.

All donations received will help to fund the time, care and support that patients receive at Overgate Hospice. This includes therapies for pain relief, counselling for patients and their families and many other vital services Overgate provides for patients and their loved ones.

There are many reasons why you should make a Will 

• To protect your estate for those you want to benefit
• To ensure an unmarried partner and/or your children have somewhere to live after your death
• To ensure your children are looked after if you die
• To allow your unmarried cohabiter to inherit from your estate
