Why we're backing Halifax charity Working Wonders

In the last of our series of pre-Christmas charity blog posts, we’re taking the opportunity to highlight the work of Halifax based charity Working Wonders.

Based at the Orange Box next to The Piece Hall, the charity provides support for young people and employers to create sustainable apprenticeships within Halifax.

Since its launch in May 2012, Working Wonders has supported dozens of young people into employment and apprenticeships.

Working Wonders encourages businesses and third sector organisations to support apprenticeships and helps young people to secure placements with supportive employers.

We, in turn, support Working Wonders by carrying out their legal work at a reduced rate and through fundraising events. We see this as a practical way of making a positive contribution to the community.
