Why we're backing Brighouse Arts Festival

This October see the return of the award-winning Brighouse Arts Festival. Organised by the not-for-profit charity Arts for Brighouse, the ten day event aims to promote public appreciation of the arts and engage with the communities of Brighouse and the wider borough of Calderdale.

The 2019 festival runs from 4-13 October and will see the arts take centre space in Brighouse, promoting the town as a culturally active place to live and visit. This year’s theme - Spotlight on Brighouse – will see our beloved town highlighted on a national level. The festival is also a great opportunity to bring people together and build relationships across local communities.

Festival highlights include Roger Davies and His Band (Friday 4), Kiki Dee with Carmelo Luggeri (Thursday 10), Lesley Garrett (Saturday 12) and a further 25 events running from October 4 - 13 October.

Tickets can be booked through TicketSource or in store at Ryecorn Wholefoods or Harrison Lord Gallery.

The festival  team also welcome volunteers to help deliver the festival. For more information about volunteering contact the Festival Director, Matthew Harrison-Lord via www.brighouseartsfestival.co.uk
