25 Years of the Community Foundation for Calderdale

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Community Foundation for Calderdale. The Foundation works tirelessly to support investment in Calderdale, most recently raising in excess of £2m for victims of last December's terrible floods.Over the past 25 years, the Foundation has awarded over £20m to charities, community groups and individuals in crisis.

The Foundation's 25 year milestone was marked this month at a gathering which celebrated the good work happening across the Calder Valley, much of which is generously supported by local businesses.

Wilkinson Woodward has been a proud supporter of Community Foundation for Calderdale for many years and we were delighted to receive an award in recognition of our support. The beautiful plate (created by Hebden Bridge based ceramic artist, Deborah Wilkes) will have pride of place in the reception of our Halifax office. 

We wish Steve Duncan and the team at CFFC continued success in their vital work supporting the communities of Calderdale. Here's to the next 25 years!
