Overgate Hospice, Elland

RSPCA, Halifax

The RSPCA centre on Wade Street cares for and rehomes abused and neglected animals. They also run an award winning scheme to re-home elderly animals and provide welfare assistance with neutering, micro chipping, flea and worm treatments. Working Wonders, Halifax


Working Wonders supports raises money to fund local youth apprenticeships. They aim to ensure that every young person in Calderdale who is able, is either employed or in full time education. The Bearder Charity, Brighouse


The Bearder Charity is based in our offices in King Street and awards grants totalling around £120,000 each year. The grants support a wide range of individuals, organisations and projects around Calderdale, including the largest annual poetry festival for primary schools in the UK. Next Steps Trust, Halifax


The Next Step Trust supports adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Established by parents, the trust works to provide a day service provision and other services.
