Christian registrar wins appeal following refusal to marry same-sex couples

A former marriage registrar for Central Bedfordshire council has won her internal appeal against dismissal.

Ms Jones was sacked because she would not marry same-sex couples, but the internal appeal hearing found that "her employer had failed to take a 'balanced view' of her religious beliefs".
