Andrew Crabtree marks 30 years at Wilkinson Woodward

Our senior commercial and property law specialist Andrew Crabtree is celebrating this month after notching up thirty years’ service Wilkinson Woodward.

After graduating from the University of East Anglia in 1984, Andrew began his legal career with John Rothery, a sole practitioner in Cleckheaton, before qualifying as a solicitor in 1986.

In December 1987, Andrew joined Wilkinson Woodward as a general practitioner. The growth in demand for property work which followed led him into his lifelong specialism.

In 1991 Andrew became a partner at the firm - and subsequently a director when the practice incorporated following a merger with Huddersfield based Norcliffe & Co in 2012.

As our senior property and commercial specialist, Andrew has represented hundreds of businesses, handling all types of property transactions from our offices in Fountain Street, Halifax.

Andrew, 54, attended Hipperholme Grammar School and was both a player and coach for Old Brodleians Rugby Union Football Club, a club he continues to support.

He is married to Lynn, a fellow director at Wilkinson Woodard. The couple live in Hipperholme and have two children; Phoebe, 24 and William, 21.

Congratulations on a fantastic achievement, Andrew.
